While Pio’s family want Amadeo fired, Pio is inspired by Amedeo’s confidence and soon begins to question his entire existence and embark on a new life path with hilarious results. Born in 1963, director, screenwriter, editor and actor Gennaro Nunziante is best known for his four Checco Zalone films, starting with Cado dalle nubi (2009) and followed by three of the highest grossing Italian films in Italy: 2016 Festival favourite Where am I Going? (IFF16), Che bella giornata (2011) and Sole a catinelle (2013). His most recent film Belli Ciao opened the 2022 Italian Film Festival.
